I like plans that still make sense when the power is out and nobody has time to think. Give me a clear priority, a short checklist and gear that earns its place. I'm usually looking for the simplest way to make a household more ready without turning the garage into a bunker. If something is important, I'd rather tell you exactly what to do than dress it up.
